Nicole Audette Barrie ON Obituary, Death:- Nicole Audette (Van Zutphen), 39, passed away in a tragic accident on March 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.
Born in 1985, Nicole lived a vibrant life filled with deep connections, adventure, and an unwavering devotion to her family. Her sudden passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew her.
Nicole was a devoted wife to Jonathan Audette, with whom she built a loving and enduring partnership. Together, they were raising two young children, Harper (6) and Henry (3), who were the light of her life. She poured her heart into motherhood, nurturing her children with boundless affection and encouragement.
She was the cherished daughter of Martin and Truus Van Zutphen, whose love and values shaped her life. A beloved sister to Eric and Jessica, she shared a lifelong bond with them. Her four nephews—Oliver, Owen, Charles, and Liam—held a special place in her heart and will deeply miss her.
Nicole had a passion for travel, always eager to explore new places and cultures. However, her most treasured moments were spent with family—playing board games, hiking, baking cookies, or enjoying time at the family cottage. Her joyful spirit and ability to create lasting memories will always be remembered.
A dedicated professional, Nicole served as a Communications Officer at the Township of Springwater, where she built lasting friendships and made meaningful contributions to her community. Her kindness and vibrant personality touched many lives.

Visitation will be held at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie, on March 17 from 7–9 p.m. and March 18 from 11 a.m. until the service at 12 p.m. A reception luncheon will follow in the lounge.
