Jacob ‘Jake’ Popson Brookville PA Obituary, Death:- Jacob “Jake” Henry Popson, 19, of Brookville, Pennsylvania died on March 16, 2025, from injuries sustained in a car accident. Born on November 4, 2005, in DuBois, PA, he was the beloved son of Jamie (Delamotte) Popson and the late Joshua Popson, Sr.
Jake graduated from Brookville High School in 2024, humorously celebrating the milestone. After high school, he worked as a self-contractor in various jobs, including working alongside his grandfather, continuing a family tradition. His adventurous spirit was evident in his love for the outdoors, particularly hunting, fishing, riding, and demolition derbies.
Beyond his hobbies, Jake’s true joy came from time spent with family and friends. His fun-loving nature, playful pranks, and boundless energy made him the life of every gathering. His infectious personality and deep loyalty to those he cared about left a lasting impression.
Always checking in on loved ones, he cherished his close-knit circle of friends, considering them family. Jake’s passing leaves a deep void, but his memory remains alive through the love he shared.
He is survived by his mother, Jamie Popson; siblings Jared (his twin), Josh, Janelle, and Tye Phares; his grandparents; and many devoted friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father and great-grandparents.
Family and friends will honor Jake’s life at the First Church of God in Brookville, PA, on March 18, 2025. A funeral service, led by Pastor Sam Wilson, will take place on March 19, followed by a private interment. Carrier Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
